What Car would you get for $100,000 (Similar to the VINwiki Series)

Let's see...for about 87 grand, I can order this kit car that looks like a Ford GT, minus engine but with just about everything else needed for a street/track beast. I bet 13 grand will cover the engine of my choice. 

Matt B as quick as the Radical is the Stohr SCCA P2 car was even faster.  These cars are a big jump from a road car.  At my home track (Spring Mtn Motorsports) there is a section called Zora's run, in the Datsun it's 82 mph over the crest with the car skating out to the exit kerbing. Even the slower corners it's a 4-5 mph faster. This is why I will likely never own an expensive road car...........single seaters are just so much faster.

New (or barely used) car:  2019 911T  

At 98k MSRP or about $119k fully optioned out, this is a special 911.  This is the best bang for the buck for a new 911, IMHO.  It's not a Turbo or GT2/3...but those are crazy cars and outliers.  I think the 911T is the gestalt identity of what the modern 911 is...it is truely better than the sum of its options, and the lowest buy-in to get a special edition of a 911.  Widebody, 7 speed manual, gorilla glass and sound deadening delete, fabric seats, webbing door pulls, sport exhaust, sport chrono, etc etc.  It's all of the right options.  It's from the pre-COVID era. This is the 911 that they would have built if they consulted a committee of me.  

Used car:  Either a really nice A/C 911, or if I can get a two-fer: a Championship or GP White NSX and 94+ MR2 Turbo in Tropical Blue Metallic or Steel Mist Gray, not that I've given it any thought. :) No reason to suffer depreciation on the quest to driving nirvana.

Cleanest, stockest, lowest mile manual transmission first generation Acura NSX I could find.

I would take my 914 to the guys at Singer and tell them to give me 100 grand in upgrades.

I would either buy a New Transit Diesel 4WD and make convert it a legit RV (With bathroom and stuff) or I would build a custom Trackday Car that has the power to make a run at Pikes Peak and win UTCC.
