Oooh, purty.
Strong temptation to drive? You know, just the tip, just to see how it feels?

The old "just the tip game" eh?! Very popular in high school.

I had to drive it from his garage to the trailer about a 1/4 mile since the road to his house was to hard to manuever the trailer down.

Those are like one of the first three cars I would buy if I won the lottery. You were truly in the presence of greatness.

It's surprising the slant nose doesn't draw much of a premium. I assumed the always did until watching a few different auction shows, both real auctions and Barrett Jackson.

They didn't hold up very well. Too dated looking. Like a pastel suit from the 80's. I would rather have a standard 930 with the normal headlights and the little black thing on the rear fenders then a slant nose, boxed rockers and open fender vent.

Was it a factory car, or a conversion?
I don't like them as much as regular 911s, but then I'm a bit of a purist when it comes to that shape. My favourite 911 is the RUF CTR:
Which looked far better than these:
Still, not one you see very often.

I was told by the owner 1 of 14 built, so I'm assuming it was factory, not something I would buy, looks goofy, almost looks (I'm going to regret this) like a 944 from the front at a quick glance.
