((and you would be surprised how little the actual height difference is....although, with the right combo of parts, you can make a low compression 2.0l that's perfect for boost. Did that for a project once... ran great!))
You can get a 2.0 out of Focus :)
The height difference is 11mm, from what I recall. Not much, but when you're dealing with a Midget every little bit matters!
Of course, I've been thinking about building a high compression 2.3, THEN adding boost...
