I assume some sort of gauge for splines, but what use if any would it have, or should i ebay it?

Looks like some kind spline gauge, but I've never seen one with more than four sizes and the labeling is meaningless to me.

The numbers are likely corresponding to a proprietary part number, or a bin.  Looks like something a manufacturer would use to quickly identify what shaft they have and then look at the numbers to determine which part goes with it.

It one of those BDM torture devices. The numbers are the safe words so your friend knows how small of an opening they can jam your hootus into.

Looks like a spline gauge for hot and cold water stems for faucets. Number of splines plus size of shaft. Hehehehehehe.

Curiosity got the best of me. Did a reverse image search and found this near the bottom of a rabbit hole.

If I were you I would put it with the lathe tooling just to berkeley with people. LOL
