What's the red 2 door wagon looking thing in the back?
Any ideas?

And within five minutes! You were somehow expecting a less than excellent result?

I love the moon hubcaps on that car.
It's pretty car
These things are ubiquitous in Rheinland-Pfalz.
The newer ones are OK, but these older ones are practically Soviet in their slowness, lack of comfort, and general meh-ness.
Still, beats the hell out of a 3-cyl Geo Metro.
I love the way it looks. To be fair I have a bit of a wagon fetish, and this tickles my wagon and coupe fetish at the same time. Not to mention my round headlight fetish and wide VW grille fetish.
It is rather cute, in a rabbitty sort of way.
I'd drive that for sure.. I wonder how a Tdi fits under the bonnett..
The reason I've kept my Mk.2 Golf for so long is because they won't bring the Polo over here. Grr.
Well, the early ones are now old enough to import, pity that the G40 coupe isn't early enough.
If the gods are listening, I want a Polo "breadvan" Country

TIm, the early ones are probably just as full of "old" as my Golf.
EDIT: G40? wasn't that the smaller displacement supercharger of the G60 I ignored when I decided to buy VR6 Corrados?
Yep, it had a 1.3L with a smaller G Ladder supercharger. 40mm vs. 60mm intake IIRC.
hahaha friedgreen, yeah me to!
That Cabby is SWEET!
Love the Braid's
I saw one of them breadvans at a few local shows and H20 last couple years. Supposedly it's someone in Pa somewhere. He has some really ugly wheels on it but all stock and red too
So the G40, I finally get to know what that is haha

Polos are built around the 1.1-1.3 liter "small block" VW engines that lean forward in the bay. We never got any of those here either. The "Large block" VW family of engines would protrude through the hood.
