I have a set of FD wheels with BFG r1's with two autocrosses on them taking up space in my garage.  Would those fit an fc?

I will make a deal on them...  super lightweight 16 x 8

Tires are mounted now.  Used them on the probe gt in the 2017 challenge.

A little googling suggests those 2010 mustang wheels are 18".

The FD wheels sound like a good possibility. :) Can't remember if spacers are needed, but they're great wheels.

Wow!  Very interested!  Let me do some checking, but I seem to recall these fitting the FC.

Cool, I can grab some pictures of them tomorrow if you want.  The ones I posted were from when I bought them a few years ago.

Weren't the FD wheels 17"? It makes them better if they are.

FD wheels are 16 x 8.  This is probably the most authoritative discussion I've found on the subject.  Looks like I will need a 1" spacer on the front?

If we're talking about tires in the 340 wear range, I highly recommend Continental Extreme Contact Sports. I just got back from a wet track day with those on my WRX and they were amazing, pulling 1G in the corners in the rain and I was passing all kinds of cars that should have been faster all while feeling perfectly under control. Amazing tires.

Okay, so I'm pretty sure I want to give pimpm3's FD wheels a new home.

Two things:

1)  Where's a good place to get 20mm hub adapters/wheel spacers?  I'll need 'em on the front.

2)  Anybody making the trip up I-95 in the next week or three with room for 4 wheels?  Name your price!

I already told pimpm3 but I'll be heading to SC in August.

Ha!  They haven't been to an autocross yet, but FD wheels shod with BFG R1's are holding up the RX-7 now.  I'll post up pics next time the sun comes out and I can drive the car.  Many thanks to PimpM3!

Oh, and 20mm spacers up front seems to be the ticket.  Looks to be enough clearance.  I'll know for sure after a spirited drive.

One more.

Wifey doesn't like the black center caps.  Remove and spray with Plasti-Dip?  Prime and paint with "Redneck Chrome?"

Also, there are murmurs of dissent on the appearance of the rear wheels.  There are those who would put spacers on the rear to make it match the front, purely for aesthetic reasons.  I'm trying to decide.  It would look better.  Any good reason not to?

Looks great!  Can't go wrong with a nice set of OEM wheels, especially light weight ones.

Looks awesome! What's the offset on the FD wheels? 20mm is a whole lot of spacer.

As for the center caps, I say Plasti-dip or spray bomb them silver. Spray chrome always looks like crap to me and I dislike chrome center caps on silver wheels in the first place. I also agree the rear could use some spacers, for aesthetics. Biggest downside to that I can think of is it's a PITA to replace the studs in the rear as compared to the front.

Agree silver is the way I would go either way.  I just like using the term "Redneck Chrome!"

FWIW, I'm using the bolt-on spacers, which go on easily with the stock lug studs.  Thirty bucks, thirty minutes, and I'm there.
