So my Corrado starts up and is idling as i'm about to leave for school then suddenly it stops. Tried to restart to no avail and notice the engine sound odd while cranking. Pop the hoos and notice the timin belt is loose, get home and tear down to replace and retime tensioner to find that it locked up. When reinstalling align timing marks and rotate to ensure its set correctly. The tensioner bolt was stripped and the helicoil that had in it pulled out and now won't stay in... What do I do? Need to find a solution as i need my car back asap.. Is there a such thing as a stud with a M12 end and M10 on the other? I need to be sure to use the OE size bolt as I'd have to drill out the tensioner for it to fit a bigger bolt. Very frusterating!!!!

Go to a good auto parts store (NAPA, CQ, Federated, etc) and have them look. There are some studs with different sizes, I just don't know if your particular size is available.

Yes studs are out there with step ups. You'd be better off with a Keen-cert or time cert then a heil-coil. They have thicker walls and stakes to hold'em in.
