Hey, I'm new. My name is Colin Valdez, I live in small-town western Oklahoma, I drive truck for a living, and I like playing with anything that has an engine and wheels. My current project is a 1993 Dodge D350 diesel that I'm building for drag racing and daily driving, and I'd also like to try auto crossing it because why not? I also own a '97 GMC Sierra 1500 and what's left of an '01 S10 ZR2. Lots of dreams, mostly pipe dreams, and not much income. What could go wrong?

Hi, I am Dan.  I am a NH redneck that is into sports cars.  Currently in S. Cali for work until late October, love love love the mountain roads and canyons out here in my '07 Cayman.

I have had a bad VW habit for the better part of my life, I have owned 28 or so with various badges.

I currently have 4 VWs with 3 different badges (1974 914/4, 1985 Westfalia, 2000 TT, and my 2007 Cayman S) and 1 Toyota (Tacoma).

Love racing of about any type (not a fan of NASCAR, though I respect it, and Street racing, no respect).

Signed up here years ago, and finally decided to be more active.

I am Phil, just started to be active on the forums.  Long time subscriber to both magazines.

I currently have

-an 2001 Miata SE, a classic BRG and tan interior with wood wheel and trim.  A real classic, that starts every day but does not leak oil.  It is set up for e street autocross and also does HPDE and SCCA time trials.

-a 2003 Boxster s, seal grey with matching hardtop.  New to the fleet, handed down from a fellow enthusiast.

The rest of the fleet

The SO loves her 2017 BMW M240.

One of my sons is a fellow car guy, and drives my hand-me-down 2007 MINI Cooper S that is set up for D street autocross and trackdays.

The other son has no car guy genes, but did just purchase a 2016 Golf Sportwagon so I do have some positive influence.

Suppose I should post here to introduce myself properly...

The name is Tyler, I live in upstate South Carolina. I enjoy dreaming about crazy swaps and weird things with cars, and the forum here seem pretty active with such projects, so here I am. Current fleet consists of...

2007 Mazda3 2.3 (5-doors, 5MT, as god intended). Daily commuter beater. Has a set of Koni FSD shocks that I installed along with a somewhat annoying Mazdaspeed catback and cold-air intake that the PO installed.

1995 Mazda Miata (5MT, popular equipment package). Track/mountain toy. Too many little things to list, but the highlights are an 03 VVT engine, EFR6258, Megasquirt MS3 ECU. Made 250whp at about 10psi, 220whp on wastegate pressure. Currently knee-deep in suspension components, as I upgrade from some tired old spec miata coilovers to Xidas. New bushings, ball joints, etc going in at the same time. Here's a video from Road Atlanta shaking down the turbo. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dd-JCUcorrQ

Look forward to joining the crew here. Cheers!

Well, back in the saddle!   Found this 92 Miata sitting in a guys driveway with a for sale sign.  Price was right, car is decent, it’s now in my garage.  Time to start tinkering again.  Guess you’re never too old!

Newish here. I’m Luc and I am up in eastern Canada, normally an early water cooled vw guy (mk2/3) but have found myself working on a lot of Toyota’s lately.

Also have a turbo 4.8 sitting in a 94 Sierra in the garage right now because I want to do burnouts from a roll at 60mph.

Also have a ranger , a matrix, a mk2 Jetta with a turbo aba, and a mk1 rabbit waiting in mothballs. And a Yamaha bws scooter for kicks.

I am usually a pretty serious lurker but with the death of other forums it’s refreshing to visit one with cool projects and intelligent posters.

Hi, I'm Roman of Nebraska. I don't really modify my cars, just maintain and drive them. This forum provides me with a lot of valuable information for maintaining my cars.

My 1999 Miata. Rubbish pic I know, but y'all know what a Miata looks like.
