I am looking for a vendor for the Republic Battery Box used in the Spec Miata series:

    Republic Battery Box

But it appears that Saferacer doesn't want Canadian customers. Anyone have leads for me? I'd love to support a GRM advertiser. I'd be buying two.

I don't want Canadian money either-at least not yet. Order and use your credit card. The banks automatically figure the exchange rate. They get paid in U.S $ and you pay a little bit more. You still dodge the PST and GST!

If the order form would let me I would. If there toll free number would work from Canada, I would, too.

And I always pay in US dollars -- thanks to my CC.

Wow, they really don't want to try very hard for business outside the lower 48, do they? Shipping a package to HI or AK is marginally more expensive than anywhere else via USPS, certainly not $25 more.

Surely someone stateside could receive them and then mail them to you?

If they don't want your money I wouldn't bother going to extra effort to give it to them.In this day and age its a very simple thing to sell anywhere, hell they ship ACROSS our country to get to Alsaka so piss on them.

Looks like I can get the same thing from King Rat Motorsports -- and they've been busting their chops via email today to get me as a customer. Good for them.

    Depends on the size/weight. I shipped a 65lb box that was 24x24x15.

OK to Seattle, $50. OK to Honolulu, $225.

I can see that for oversized stuff, but I ran a test case of a 20lb package from TX to CA and AK, and AK was only a dollar or so more.
