I did it at Las Vegas motor Speedway once. It was alot of fun. It is amazing how planted the cars feel entering a corner at 150. You follow a lead car and if you keep your car in their mirror and close they continue to speed up if you fall back they slow down. Just keep tailgating the lead car and have fun.

I think that may be two different things. Didn't know of a U drive Indy car.

I did the Indy 101 at LVMS as well. Hit 185mph following the instructor. Worth it!

Did the Andretti Experience at LVMS a few years back. A lot of fun. Was seriously impressed/surprised at the g's pulled around a corner at 150MPH.

Forearms were sore for a couple of days afterward. Nascar/Indy drivers can certainly be considered athletes in my mind after that.

I went on the site, but it appears you have to sign up to buy a certificate for the event, then contact the organizers on your own to schedule which day you want to attend???

I was concerned that after I paid, I may find one of the days I'd hoped for was already booked?

I haven't really checked everything about it yet, but the certificate showed me at least 3 different blocks of 3 day periods I could do it so that won't be an issue for me.
