My DD A3 Jetta has 280+ on it... When we junked my Wife's 1992 Maxima, it had 235xxx. We would still have that car if it hadn't rusted out so bad. And I have a 1991 F250 diesel pick up. Don't know the exact mileage, but it looks rough enough to have 200k plus... lol And my 1986 GTi has something like 225k, but has had a couple of different speedometers over it's life (car came with a box of three of them, all broken I assume) until I installed a brand new one 8 or 9 years ago. Until we bought my Wife's 07 Accord all of our vehicles were over 200k or I assumed they were over 200k. (The F250)

So stoked to see this come back from the dead! I sold my 96 accord a few months ago with 280,000. Got $1200 for it.

I Replaced it with a 1999 Camry 4cyl with 60,000 miles owned by a little old lady. Every thing works no squeaks or rattles, unblown shocks and working A/C!

It feels like a luxury car compared to my old accord. It's an auto, and I kind of hate not shifting my own gears. but I couldn't pass up the deal.

'97 Ford Explorer 5.0L 4r70W trans, 210k and climbing. It's my tow, biking, and adventure vehicle. Had the rear end rebuilt many years back when the whine got loud enough to be really annoying. Looked like the pinion wasn't shimmed correctly, but we bought it with only 53k on it, so not sure when it would have been out before that. Trans got where it was stuttering badly on the 1-2 shift at about 160k, changing the trans filter and swapping to full synth fluid solved it. About 20k miles ago it started shifting 1-2 really hard, like shift kit hard. Replaced the broken spring in the 1-2 shift solenoid piston and she's been good to go. Done ball joints and other wear items. Replace AC compressor & hoses, radiator. Done the vent fan motor multiple times.

That reminds me...I should probably change the plugs. Only done it once before. Should probably think about timing chain at some point too...

sold my '99 VW Golf TDI 5-speed with 285K on the clock this past year. It ate 5th gear at 235K and I bolted in a used trans, but otherwise ran great with normal maintenance (oil changes ~10K, timing belt/water pump ~100K).

1996 Toyota 4runner with 230k. I bought it with a "tick" in the motor and drove it for over 15k before it did the full Exxon Valdez blowup. Replaced it with 3.4l from another 4runner that rolled over after cleaning out a ditch(so it was running good when wrecked). We use it for bad weather, garbage and recycling plus animal vehicle. Best news is that I have about $2200 in the vehicle even after replacing motor, tires and interior(it was easily the dirtiest vehicle I have ever seen and I have done repossessions)

1997 Miata,240,000.Got a timing belt and water pump every 100,000,a clutch around 100,000 and routine maintenance, brakes when it needed it. 2002 Camry 290,000 had a waterpump go out and a power steering hose leak other than that just maintenance and brakes

2001 Toyota Tacoma Xtracab 5-speed V6 4WD, 216,000. PO were maintenance fanatics, got a 1-inch thick file when I bought the truck that covered every oil change, etc. New clutch around 150K, new radiator at 180K, everything else by the book. As a result it runs like a fine watch, uses absolutely no oil between changes, everything works, in other words, a Toyota. Plan to keep it forever, if possible.

1997 Nissan Pickup shows 165,000, the odometer quit in 2012 it is probably in the 200,000 area. 1984 RX-7 shows 215,000. 1995 Miata shows 170,000. 1974 F100 shows 50,000, I imagine it is 250,000.

my dail 99 Integra has about 215k. That's peanuts compared to some here (damn, wally), but I'm still amazed at how fresh it drives and how well the interior has held up.

I have a friend that owns a Chevy cube van with a 350 SB. He uses it for a delivery service. The odometer has rolled over many times but he keeps good records of service and maintenance and he states that he has put 1.2 million miles on it and counting. Now OK.............most things have been replaced several times so it's like the old story of the ax which has had it's head and handle replaced....... is it really original? Funny part is he buys his parts at a local auto supply store that carry a lifetime warranty on things like starters, radiators, water pumps etc. He saves the receipts and when they go bad he takes the parts back and gets new ones no questions asked. Some of those parts he has replaced 4 or 5 times too!

1998 Dodge Neon ACR - 248800+ miles as of today.

Just broken in as my gas milage just started going up last summer from a commuting average of 30-32 to 34-37 mpg, with a one tank high of 38 and change, was hoping to hit 41 (Window sticker high) before the end of June when the registration runs out.

I have an 87 B350 Dodge 15 passenger van I parked with 278k on it. I bought it needing heads rebuilt. I turns out the exhaust valve springs where week from the heat caused by a carbon plugged Y pipe (not the convertor the pipe itself). I put about 60,000 of the miles on it and parked it due to it being impractical (8 mpg). I did 14 people mostly kids to Myrtle Beach twice, took my family to Disney, and made a parts run to Atlanta with it. I got my $400 worth of use out of it but now it is a shed waiting to got to the crusher though it starts and runs if someone wants a 360 to rebuild.

I found my old posting on page 2, from Oct 2012. The Maxima had 202k on it then, I sold it with about 209k, bought it back a few months ago with 230k and a blown motor for $500. I'm swapping in a bigger v6 with about half the miles, so we'll see how that goes! I would love to see 4 or 500k on the chassis!
