What's a ballpark cost I could expect to pay to get some OEM cast aluminum wheels widened by 2 or 3 inches? I want to have it done by a decent shop like Wheels America or something, has anyone had this done before with good results?

See my post here:

I didn't post a follow-up as promised there, but I did get my wheels done by Weldcraft. They came out superb! I paid $200 per wheel for an added 3". Wheels America will only widen to a max of 2" and they'll tell you that 2" is the safest amount a wheel can be widened
Weldcraft is the place to go! Professional quality, done quickly. Not a paid endorsement, just a satisfied customer

I have also heard really good things about Weldcraft. I have been meaning to send some wheels I have lying around to them for a while!

Thanks, that's exactly what I needed to know.
Too expensive for a Challenge car. Moving on...

Not really, it will give you $1200.00 to build the rest of the car ;)
