Anyone know a cleaner/quicker method of removing intact windows than taking a sledgehammer or cutoff wheel to them? I'm preparing a car for LeMons and would rather not ruin the windshield seals.

cheaper to cut the seals with a razor knife than buy new glass. If you want to put Lexan in instead of the glass I would try and sell the glass and you probably would make more than the cost of new seals.

Window removal tools are inexpensive and usually do a pretty good job. It is hard to get them out without at least a little nick. That is all it take to start a crack, but much easier to get out in one piece. Heat iot up before you start and the goo cuts easier.

Depends on the window. My Dodge truck you could flip the inner rubber to the outside, but Corvairs are glued in. There's no way to save the seal.
