    Rolling Stones, Greatest Hits.

Perfect for a dark and stormy night.

I have a whole "garage" playlist on my ipod that I connect to the massive shop head unit & speakers. It has:

Rev Horton Heat, ZZ Top, JJ Gray, James McMurtry (a favorite), some old country (Don williams, Hank Jr,), Pink Floyd selections, Raconteurs, Stevie ray vaughn, Shooter Jennings, Skynyrd, Stray cats, BR549, and a bunch of one-off car songs. And a ton of other stuff to long to list.

Ya GOTTA have the right tunes.

    That list is perfect.
You, sir, have the best taste in music that I've seen in GRM-land. You are hereby granted the right to control the radio in my garage!!!

Yes, good list- I have to add my agreement. Give that Soma FM a shot if you like the old country. They keep me pretty entertained. Also- Shooter kicks ass. I saw him live in a little theater in Falls Church, VA. Wow.

I often listen to www.radioparadise.com, which plays a decent mixture of new and old, hard-ish and soft, commercial-free. And at the risk of attracting derision from the peanut gallery, I loves me some Grateful Dead, like, lots and lots, so I often stream shows from http://www.archive.org/details/GratefulDead. When I'm done with Radio Paradise and the Dead, then I stream http://kexp.org/ because I live in Seattle and that's our big, hip, public music radio station. Because I am not hip, listening to it makes me feel hip.
