And still well over a hundred grand's worth!

The 959 was my "dream car" as a young kid. Even if I was wealthy I wouldn't bother with that one, unless it was to stuff the drivetrain into a 356 or something.

Interesting site, just wish I had a better grasp of German.

I spent a Summer in Germany when I was 19. As I recall, I had a pretty good grasp on a couple of Germans.

what an annoying site.. all but the main picture is "private" and you cannot back out of it back to GRM?

I do find it funny how much the 959 looks like a kit

I was wondering what kind of accident it was in. Didn't look like a front or rear hit, no roof damage from a roll over, just looks like a bunch of random hits. Really pissed off wife?

It doesn't really say anything about the sort of accident - the German part of the ad is about as enlightening as the English one.

I had no trouble. Mousing over each picture popped it up in the main window, and I hit the back button precisely once to get back here.

A long time ago in maybe "European Car" or another glossy rag they featured a 959 that had be wrecked a few miles after factory pickup.

It was rebuilt into a speedster or Cabrio (your choice, you could change out the windshield/ other bits depending on your mood and put the other bits into fitted crates).

I remember it being a very interesting article.
