Just doing some brainstorming for a possible unrelated project. But basically I am hoping somebody who has an Xterra with the factory storage bin on the roof rack, can give me the measurements of the piece (length, with dth, depth) and maybe a couple pictures of how it attaches to the rack.

Cool, it is the dimensions that I can't find any place though, since it is not my intention to use it on an xTerra lol

Thanks! Most specifically I am looking for both the overall dimensions in all three directions, as well as the width between the sidebars that attaches to. I.e. how wide would someone's rack need to be in order for it to fit between the sidebars?

Also I'm not sure if they are different but do you have the early one or the late one?

I don't think I have ever seen one of those before.  Very cool for Nissan!

This thread actually reminded me I needed to do my annual pine needle and sap collection from parking in front of the house. So Thanks!

I have one sitting in the back of my shed, but I dont have the truck anymore. Its the earlier style that mounts to 2 bars (I think BMW88 has the later style, that has a more unique mount).

You can have it.

That is pretty cool, how did I not realize that was a storage box all these years?

I was just at a local salvage yard today that had 3 2003 Xterras in their inventory. All 3 still had the storage bins intact..........so they are not too hard find.
