As a former D-Sports Racer competitor these cars offer phenomenal performance  , even in this 20yr old car. My class lap record in our DSR was only about 1-1.5 seconds slower than Mike Lewis' GT1 lap record in an ex Roush Trans Am car. These days the cars now match Formula Atlantics. You could spend this much on on a Spec Miata (great class) or buy a DSR and go 20-30 seconds a lap faster.

Fun fun car but not necessarily for beginners.
