Has anyone ever attempted to install lug studs with the hub still on the car? Would a corded impact driver be enough torque to pull studs through? If not, what would you recommend to keep it from turning, baring in mind that this is a one man project. I tried wedging a small crow bar between a stud and the ground, but that only compressed the spring when I torqued down on it. I don't have access to a press and don't really want to go through the hassle of taking the hubs off, stupid holden.
