For the most part, when someone says they are working on restoring a car, a small Britsh sports car or a big American muscle car comes to mind.

Kind of a dumb question. You can restore anything.

Yes you can but is it still called a restoration if the car is only 11 years old? There's a ton of custom work going into it to so not really sure where it falls.

If it was in the wrong hands previously a 2009 BMW can definitely be in need of a restoration. A buddy of mine has one of these so I'll be watching this.
