Forum member greggearhead managed to get his hands on this rust-free 1979 Alfa Romeo Alfetta project. It's one of about 500 Mille Miglia edition cars—greggearhead says that adds some coolness and a few spoilers, but not much value. The plan is to restore it to its former glory and then campaign it in a road rally.

Nice indeed!  I love these.  I doubt many of the 500 still exist.  The Ronal wheels by themselves used to be pricey.  I scrapped one of these years ago due to rust and made more from the wheels than I paid for the car.   By '79 it would be the Sprint Veloce however instead of the Alfetta.

This chassis isa  wonder from alfa .such a fun car ,and thrifty while doing it .The cheap russian steel sent most of them to the crusher unfortunately .I would love to have another gtv6  or the milano someday . nice score .
