Looking to see if anyone here will be attending NCCAR September 25-26 for NASA HPDE. After 2 years of autocrossing and Hyperdrives at VIR i will be joining in for my first HPDE to start my ladder towards a competitive license. Looking to get into Honda Challenge when its all said and done with.

If anyone is instructing look out for a Silverstons S2000 with roll bar and splitter.

I'll be there... NASA SE had a promotion going earlier in the yr for a free HPDE with the stipulation that you join NASA ... not really a hardship... the only caveat was you had to do as a HPDE 1 .... I've sense run with them as a HPDE 2 ... but what the heck... it's a new track and it's "free"... and if I behave myself my instructor might move me up before the weekend is over

NASA-SE proudly presents the annual Fall Fling! at NCCAR in Roanoke Rapids, NC on September 25-26, 2010. This will be a fun filled event that promises to exceed all previous levels of NASA-SE quality events. We will have our normal schedule starting on Friday evening and continuing through out the weekend. This event includes:

High Performance Driver's Education (HPDE) - drivers of all makes and models of cars can sign up and begin at the novice level (HPDE 1) and work their way to advanced driving skills. All drivers start with classroom instruction as well as an in-car instructor to guide you to drive your car at the limits. All of this takes place with the safety of a racetrack under controlled conditions.

Competition License School - tWe will teach you everything you need to know to get your NASA Racing License! We will teach you the rules of racing as well as strategies both in classroom and on track.

Instructor Clinic Level II - This is for getting your Instructor's badge to instruct for NASA. We will cover all types of student scenarios with role playing and hone your instructor skills with some blindfolded driving!
