Media Advisory: 50th anniversary of the Rolex 24 At Daytona December test session
Who: More than 25 GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series entries will be testing the 3.56-mile road course in preparation for the 50th anniversary of the Rolex 24 At Daytona on Jan. 28-29.
When: Tuesday, Dec. 6 and Wednesday, Dec 7, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Daytona International Speedway
Who: Among the GRAND-AM teams expected to be testing include: · 50+ Racing/Predator and AC/DC lead singer Brian Johnson · Three Ferrari 458 teams – Extreme Speed Motorsports, Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale and AIM Autosport · Action Express Racing and drivers David Donohue, Darren Law, Joao Barbosa, Terry Borcheller and JC France · Sunoco Rolex 24 At Daytona Challenge winner and British Formula 3 champion Felipe Nasr, who will test drive with Action Express Racing · SunTrust Racing and drivers Max Angelelli and Ricky Taylor of Apopka · Spirit of Daytona Racing with Antonio Garcia and Oliver Gavin behind the wheel of a Chevrolet Corvette Daytona Prototype · Brumos Racing and five-time Rolex 24 champion Hurley Haywood, Andrew Davis and Leh Keen · Dempsey Racing with Joe Foster and Don Kitch Jr.
Spectators: A section of the Oldfield Grandstands will be open free to the public with access available through the lobby of the Daytona International Speedway ticket office.
