I trailered Brutus to Port Elgin last weekend for what turned out to be such a great couple of days of visiting with kids and grand kids. It will be hard to match, even at the race track... This Monday will be my first lapping day with Brutus. I threw in a spare seat and belts and am looking forward to some coaching as well as treating freinds and girlfriend to a lap or two. Should be a fun end to the Thanks Giving holiday

Hey gents, nice to see all the family photo's.. I hope everyone had a great weekend!!

Lapping at Shannonville was a success for sorting out the car. I did have some issues which I expected since it was the first time I would actually run the car hard and long enought to get the engine up to temp. I managed to hit 100mph on the back straight which maybe isnt' too impressive to most of you but for me it was a first for the car and a first for me, so felt great.
I hope everyones' final event of the year comes off without a hitch if you haven't already closed out your season. Cheers......... Vince

Congrats Vince on getting on track. Any pictures? What's the plan now, some tweaking over the winter and drivers school in the spring?

Kids and cars- my boys want to drive on track now. Guess they've earned the right, maybe in the spring.

Yes, I'll be doing drivers school in the spring. Over the winter I'll be "tweaking" a little more than I hoped since the engine although running well with lots of power is blowing too much smoke so I'll be tearing it down to do a proper rebuils but that's OK, I'll enjoy it and I'll have a stronger car than planned to start my first year ;) I hope to have my son driving solo's next year, he just fits into the GT6...
