Volvo Sports America is joining VRG at the Oct 14-16 vintage race event at Watkins Glen. They will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the P1800. They plan to bring many Volvos of all sorts. A few will be race cars that will join the action on track. So far there are 12 Volvos entered. So if you have a race prepared Volvo bring it out! (or any other vintage race car for that matter)

I was at the last VSA meet at the Glen in 2001, and there were so many Volvos that they barely fit them all into the track tour at the same time -- the first car was nose-to-tail with the last. Volvo vintage racers came from the west coast and all over the country, not just the east coast guys locals might be familiar with. I don't know if that's the case this time around.
Note that VSA is primarily the P1800 club, although they do allow other models that are no longer in production.
