Hey Guys,
I was just sent some low resolution scans of an article from the August 2004 issue of Old Timer Magazine. (Higher resolution copies are being sent to me via snail mail.) The article covered the restoration of the 1933 Phaeton that is part of the Nissan Heritage Collection in Zama (Kanagawa). The photos are obviously ultra valuable to me, but I'd really LOVE to know what the text says.
Can anybody out there lend a hand?
And the cover of the issue in question

Obviously, I'll send anybody the full sized scans as soon as I get them.
On the second line it says, "1933".
I took Japanese for 3 years... But it's useless now. LOL I can read and write it a little and speak even less. Mainly obscene phrases I remember. LOL

It also says "something something Datsun something something phaeton" on that line.
If you can email me some higher res scans I'm sure I can get it translated for you. One of my good friends just moved back from Japan after living there for eight years, and he brought back his Japanese wife. Between the two of them they should be able to make sense of it.
It mentions something about being made from American scrap metal so you're on the right track there.
