Well, there were rumblings of this happening, and its just been confirmed. After 120,000 fans this year and a race whose entrants had to actually race to even get in in some classes due to the huge number of entrants, Petite Le Mans will not be part of next years World Endurance Championship.
Worse is that the WEC has set up a race in BAHRAIN of all places on the same weekend, just to ensure that there is no chance that any of the factory LMP squads or dual ALMS/WEC teams will have a chance to be there....
