The guy in the video needs a punch in the face from me. The protesters might need the same thing. Wait... it might be more widespread than I thought.

I put forth the motion that there are ass-beatings for the far left and far right until we can start making sense again and meet somewhere in the middle. If everyone is a little bit dis-satisfied but can agree that things could be much, much worse, than we're probably doing a good job.

If you were undergoing an audit, would you go ahead and pay all the contested amounts before a decision was reached about what you actually owe? Not me.

It's been ongoing since 2002. Doesn't seem like he's in a hurry to be found innocent.

The OWS folks have the same issues; they're dis-satisfied with themselves, too.

Unions used to have a purpose. Nowadays, people dont lose arms to machines because the company is too cheap to install guards.

Oh really. In mining there are a decent number of miners killed or seriously injured by getting hit by equipment. There are systems out there to prevent this and the federal government is starting to look at mandating these systems but only on certain machines. The mine workers union is pushing for these systems to be installed on all face machines. There are still places where unions are needed and do good work.
