Ford builds a SIMILAR vehicle in it's H-D F series trucks, and Ford owns a (small) part of Mazda, so this would ALMOST seem to be a natural....or not.

Someone was a little too self conscious of the "chic-car" image and decided to make it more masculine with giant Harley emblem. This must've happened before South Park did a social commentary of Harley owners.
