    Scratch one Fiat.
I know how he feels. At least I had one layer of tire wall before knocking over two sections of jersey wall.

Anybody that thinks they don't need a Hans device because 'they don't go fast enough', look at where his head is in some of those pics.

    Damn.

That thing bounced off the jersey wall. You could tell it was going to be bad when the left quarter hit the wall in exactly the same spot the left front fender did. Sucks that the door scooped the hood back up and jammed it in his face, too. And it's resting on the front crossmember or the oil pan or something at the end...

Shame about the car. I hope the driver's OK.

The GIF version above goes a lot more frames into the crash. It goes up to the driver getting out and crews arriving on scene.

    Wow, what a hit.

That really sucks. But... the guy had no countersteer angle! I wonder if he might have been able to save it with a little quicker hands, or a little more caster.

Good to see him climbing out at the end.

I went to page two in those shots; with a the sheet metal flying around, broken windshield that guy could easily have been Earnhardted by something. Coupe? Not today.

Swap that HANS for a full face and neck brace.

    Just my $.02

Good point. He barely steers outta that at all, like he drove right into it. Wonder how much speed he was carrying, or did he just freeze up when the back end let go? I'm also noticing how he spent the whole corner staring out the front, looking at where the car is going, 'steada where he wants to go. I did that once at a rally, and shore nuff we went where I was looking, where I didn't wanna go...
