    I'm with you wholeheartedly SVreX.

    In my eyes it makes someone a bit more accountable for what they say if they are known by their given name which, hopefully, will force them to be more honest and sincere.

    I use the same user name on all the boards I frequent...even the chev truck board. I may even be using the same avatar.(not displayed on the mobile version.) While I don't plan to use the name my mother gave me on line, I think the consistency is enough. I try to say things on-line that I would be comfortable saying in person. That said, if you don't like my opinion or advice, ignore it.

    Just my take.

    BTW, truckers have the same "you don't know who I am while I'm on the CB so ill be an asshat" problem.

    I don't mind screen names. There are good reasons for them at times.

    But this site is getting weird, with a bunch of people changing their name multiple times.

    Witness the shark thread- what a freakin' mess.
