I never understood the need for keyless ignition. Are we really that lazy that we can twist a key?

I don't like the bulk. Between cars, business and home keys, I carry 9 keys on 2 rings clipped together. Add a remote for a couple of cars and its too bulky.

This wouldn't be an issue if everyone listened to Porsche and put the ignition on the correct side of the wheel. Cuz then you could do two things at once.

People didn't bother to ask where the key was once they saw the motor was in the wrong place.

Keyless entry/ignition system are for bobcostases, anyway. How hard is it to take a key out of your pocket?

It's not hard at all, but if I don't use the keyfob then I can't set the factory alarm.

I always thought that having the ignition switch on the passenger side of the wheel was to prevent carjackers from quickly reaching into your car to turn off the key.

personally id love a proximity remote.... ya taking a key out isnt that bad but when your a woman and some guy is following you that half a second to open the door is the diff between being fine and assualted

A Glock buys you a few moments to retrieve the key.

I am also anti weapons, but if the scumbag is going to have one, I sure as hell am going to have one as well.

Training, training, training and common sense make the firearm as safe as the prepared person who has possession of it.

This from a guy who is originally from a society that denies its law abiding citizens the right to legally defend themselves.
