Anyone have any experience with these?

I do custom framing and do a lot of high-end 3D acrylic (Plexiglas) boxes, and static is always an issue.

There’s a few on Amazon I’m considering trying. They get mixed reviews, but methinks the bad reviews may be mostly operator-error.

Static is exacerbated by dry air, particularly common this time of year.  Maybe a humidifier is the solution?

I wonder if a simple thin ground wire wrapped down your hose wouldn't solve the issue.

Sadly, no. It’s just the nature of the beast working with acrylic. And as we frame fine art & stuffs, humidity is the enemy.

Do some research into a brush that is grounded.  The air guns use high voltage, which is not  always consistent.
