For me as well, I was told they have lots of older vehicles at cheap prices. As well as newer cars...

About an hour from me as well. From the picture of it on Google, it looks worth checking out.

-trishbayybee: do you remember what the inventory for older European cars was like?

wow, bringing the thread back from the dead, huh. I never did get to this yard though. Someone just told me of another yard in PA, in schukl haven, called ackeys or something.

I have been to the yard in Schuylkill Haven.. BIG yard that runs for acres. Unfortunately I was there to get parts for my uncles taurus or I would have looked around more.

I used to work out that way. Lived in Spring Township outside of reading and commuted up 61 to 895, over the appalacian trail, and into Orwigsburg... nice roads out that way

i think this is it http://www.ussachey.com/

I dunno though, I'll have to take a ride out that way, I was told there are lots of older cars, say 70's-80's or so.

I just got back... I saw cars in that yard I have not seen in 30 years.. and I only saw a small part of it. Everything from a rotted out Frogeye sprite to a brandnew Pt Cruiser.. with saabs, (including 2 stroke) opels, Pugs, renaults, Triumphs of all sorts, MGs, spidgets, Jags, MBs, BMWs, the list goes on and on.. and that was just the small import area I was in.

I even managed to snag some early (non-aerodynamic) bumpers for my saab to convert it to a "flat nose"

Fun place isnt it? At least 1/4 of the cars in the foreign section are probably old autox cars of mine and my friends. Loooots of old stuff there, both foreign and domestic.

yes... 58 New Road, Tabernacle, NJ

Comes up as Vincentown on Google..

Overall I found them to be a bunch of good guys. The local yard (dirks) treats everyone like they are criminals. You have to open your tool box BEFORE going in (and out) and you have to cross through a metal detector before you can leave.. just in case you care carrying extra screws or anything in your pockets.
