    Awesome!

Usuallly Halloween is the biggest one of the year for SWMBO & me, but this year's been so tough (I got laid off, and shortly after that her son was diagnosed with brain cancer) that we just couldn't put much effort into it.

We did put up our decorations, tho. And they'll stay up until January.

We love Halloween. It's kind of our "protest" against the oncoming Xmess..

I will take this a bit off track but this goes out to Ditchdigger.
Are you aware of where your avatar image originated because if you you are it is a wonderfully obscure reference.

    Cocktails for two,
    Some knives... and some forks.
    Peas, mashed potatoes,
    A large mound of pork.
    Oh can't you see
In my love eyes it's time
    To dim the lights
    And chill the ham?

This year, my street decided to hand out candy all together since there are only 12 houses total and we are a dead-end. The setup included a bonfire, food on the grille, chili, halushki, loads of baked goods, booze and massive amounts of stuff for the kids:

One contribution that we all love are the flaming pumpkins. Soak a roll of toilet paper in gasoline for an hour or so and it will burn inside of a Jack-o-lantern most of the evening.

I knew there was something I liked about you.

Best of luck on both the fronts mentioned.

I know exactly what it is from Bought that album the day it came out. Pink vinyl. Still have it. I was listening to some MP3's off it yesterday and remembered the cover and thought it was fitting for an avatar.

I was wondering if anyone would know what it was from.
