Because my friends and I are

I'm figuring I am getting to the age where traveling around to watch video game tournaments might be a waning past time for myself (I don't play very often anymore, but League of Legends, a DOTA ripoff that has attracted a huge competitive base lately, has reignited my interest), so I've decided that this will be my one nerdfest I go to!

While it is ran in conjunction with comiccon (which I have virtually zero interest in), I'm pretty pumped to finally make it into New York proper with 3 of my good friends, all while getting to watch the best players of StarCraft2 and LoL go at it.

So, besides the whole nerding it up thing, is there anything I should see in New York besides the slutty cosplay chicks? I mean, to explore all of New York would be impossible, but just really memorable things to see.

I don't have a whole lot of interest in the pro circuit, but I LOVE me some league of legends. Been maining Soraka for a few months now.

I may have to stop by. Do you know where you are stayng yet? There isn't much near the Javits Center but I can probably come up with things near your hotel depending on how much time you want to spend traveling around.
