OK, I guess I posted too soon. I didn't realize they also have an '89 GL and a '91 Loyale in Nashville.

I (in the other thread) said:

My mom rear ended a Mountaineer today, busting out the right head light and turn signal in her '90 Subaru Loyale. They've got an '89 GL there, so if someone was willing to check it out, or even pull it and send it to me, I'll reimburse you, buy you beer, or what ever you require. Mom's got a cherry Loyale and not a lot of money.

i've never heard it called a Loyale before, and if you're not adopted I doubt that it's still cherry, but whatever.

I was there Saturday...might go back again this coming weekend and can check it out for you and pull it if it's decent.

Awesome! Also, if it's got a maroon hood and right fender I'll come down and get it, but if I can't find the right color I'll just fix hers.

And grille. Her's looks just like this one: So if the body panels are good I'll just come down and pull the stuff myself, and meet up to buy you a beer/dinner/etc. for the scouting mission. Otherwise, shipping would probably be much cheaper for the turnsignal, headlight, and grille if it's the right color. Just let me know if anyone out there gets a chance to check it out! Oh, and Angry, I'm not ignoring you, I just haven't thought of anything with the perfect balance of clever and vulgar to respond with.

    In reply to Cotton:

If you go, check out a 2002 Mercury Mountineer on row 99. Should have a IRS 8.8 rearend under it. I have been looking for one and may make the drive up to get it. Big Thanks! for looking for me. Looks like this:

Sorry man I didn't make it out...got stuck working in the shop. I still plan to go, but it might not be until this coming Saturday. If I can get out there sooner I will though.

Gasoline, I'll look at the Mountaineer as well.

Hey Corey the Loyal is white and has quads headlamps, not the euro look. The grill looked good though and the turn signal was good too as long as they are the same. Let me know if you want me to pull them. I'll probably go back out Wednesday after work.

Weird. Like it had four sealed beam lights instead of the two normal composite lights? As long as it's a '87-'94 the turn signal should be the same, and since I'm pretty sure Loyales were only made from '90-'94 it should work. I'll take the turn signal if you're going, but I'll pass on the rest.

Was it like this one? If so, the turn signal is different. Thanks for checking though!

I just re-checked their website, and the '89 and '91 they had are apparently gone, and they have an '85 now, so that would explain the sealed beam lights. Bummer.
