Anyone here approved to write iphone apps and upload them to the app store?

I have one of the free iPhone developer accounts. I can download the SDK and stuff. Idk about uploading, I've never tried.

from what I understand you need to pay, and wait about 6 months to get approved for uploading. The 6 month lag is what I am trying to avoid.

iPhone development is just the latest BS bubble in IT. If you want to make money you're looking at the wrong line of work (maybe even in the wrong industry
). If you like writing apps look at Maemo (or Android, which has a decent market size / software freedom balance).
