Yeah, Bill, I agree completely. And as that was WAY before Albert Arnold Gore, Jr. invented the internet, there was no quick "lemme check that a sec."
And as for the helicopters in the desert thing, all I know for sure about that is that I know people that were on the recovery vessel and they said that what was released as the official story was not what happened. And Marines were there (on the US ship) to kill anyone (in the US crew) that looked too close.
We also will never know the full story on the Iran Contra thing or Reagan's involvement with the hostages. I remember the Reagan years too. They weren't all that great either, but they were better than the Carter years and they bought us 10 years or so of a reprieve from the totalitarianism that we are experiencing now under the full control of the Communist Party of America (DNC) and their little socialist brothers, the new GOP.
