I received was/is spam ? ( oh and the last time I was in NY was 1971... and I didn't have a car there ( 17,000 ton heavy cruiser ... but no car )

seems like this is something that the NY State Patrol would like to know about- along with the FBI since it's a a fraud that crossed state lines... maybe even the DHS, CIA, and a few other government agencies with 3 letters in their initials..

I received the same E-mail about six or seven times in the last two or three weeks, since I have not been in N.Y since 2003 I just deleted them.

(Now Cleveland O.H is another ....)

me too, and the fact that it came to my work email. the latest trend there has been emails saying that an electronic check payment had been declined, and i need to send my account info so they could fix it, and one supposedly from a person at the IRS saying that my tax payment had been rejected.
