I see no ring times for some people... is the contest over?

Crap I don't know where I left my times.

    Jeebus i'm failing.

We're going to have to start discussing the next competition. I'd like to see a weekly thing, winner picks the next challenge, top three pick the cars, something like that.

I have a lot of updating to do here....

    Idea:

    Five weeks

Five tracks. Track can only be used once.

List of 5 cars, any mods EXCEPT no race tires, any other tire is okay. You can use any car but only once.

The first race track is posted by the competition committee, the next track is chosen by the person who came in LAST.

Arg. You and your damn non-race tires. I really like the 5 cars, 5 tracks, 5 weeks thing, though, with the last place choosing the next track.

I just really don't have the patience for the non-race tires. Half of these cars are hard enough to keep in a straight line on race rubber.

sounds good, but first, who won this event? They should get to chose the first track.

No race tires is fun. But I'm also not that guy that makes 27 runs trying to get the last .001 out of it, either.

Isn't the Cyborg a damn hoot? I wish it wasn't so down on power, it handles the best out of the FF cars in my opinion, and it sounds like hell breaking loose.

I will get the final points up ASAP.

Sorry... fixed my M4 time. The Skyrine was faster than the Supra.

    So what's next guys?

Looks like the FTO was my crutch... Nothing like a FWD car that was still hitting 190mph on the back stretch of the ring.

Just jumping in out of the blue guys but wondering, was all of the above with non race tires or did that silliness get nixed? I'm assuming this is GT5, correct?

I'd be down for attempting to be more involved in another challenge.. Triumph spitfire on autumn ring Mini anyone?

This is all race tires, and GT4.

I think we were trying to get something going where the loser picks the track, and the winner picks the eligible cars? We all need to discuss this..

I'm fine with anything except those ginormous tracks. Putting a wheel off and losing it 4:50.xx into a 5 minute lap really makes me upset.

consistincy pays off! Always post your times, no matter how bad thay may be! Sure, I lost by 77 ponts, but I still finished second. I'm certianly up for another challenge. maybe something where we all use the same car(s)? NA Miata with stage 2 engine, semi-race suspension, ECU, semi race exhaust, sport 3 tires, stage 1 weight reduction, any diff, standard trans. Sound like spec Miata yet?

I would personally prefer to keep it more open ended than that... my strength by far is my setup, not my driving, and that's probably the only reason i won, to be honest. I spend hours tweaking and changing setups. That Supra and FTO that i had are way faster than they have any right to be. Doesn't mean i can drive worth a damn.

And for Pete's sake! RACE TIRES PLOX!!! The Super Softs seem to have less grip than my damn RS2s in this game.

I think John was on the right track before with the set of 5 cars, we can debate and see what SHOULD be pretty equal.

If we just want one car, that's fine, but PLEASE let us go to town on it.

The last one looked pretty cool. Count me in on this next one. My suggestion would be to do it the same however let the non cart race cars in on some races. The format seemed simple enough so letting the looser/s pick the upcomming track would seem to work as well.

Three race weekend. One car. Three tracks. Lowest lap time from each track added together to make one time entry.

Tracks: Nurburgring, Sarthe with chicanes, Hong Kong.

    Maybe a Corvette race car?

How about ANY FR car. Race cars included, but have to be based on a production body at least?

    I'm cool on the tracks.
