Hey guys, hope you can help me here. Anybody know what's supposed to be the difference between the A/C compressors between the Sentras that have a "1n4e" and "jn1e" VIN? Thanks in advance.

If you don't know already, the first digit (1 or J) refers to the country the car was ASSEMBLED in. Having said that, many cars use the same manufacturer for subassemblies no matter where the car is built, the component manf. have subsidiaries(sp?) in the "new" country. Yet, there are always exceptions to any rule. I would think the compressors are interchangeable, but I don't know for a fact that they are.
