How is afghanistan in comparison to iraq? No one in my unit has been over there recently and it look like that is where we will be headed next.

well it depends on when you were in Iraq, early Iraq would be higher intensity larger scale battles, now here where we are (very location dependant) sporadic small arms contact, some ied attacks with complex ambushes to go along with them. But you know ymmv.

theres not a great way to me to express the gratitude I have for your service, so I will just say please take care of yourslef. If it were medically possible, id be there with you.
