Excellent! I have no bacon this morning, but I had some yesterday, and will do again soon.
I have bacon to thank for helping to expand my girlfriend's acceptance of some meat products after an upbringing of culinary horrors left her more or less indifferent to food.
did 12 bacon wrapped jalapenos w/ cream cheese on the grill yesterday. epic as usual.
Bacon = meat candy
I wish they served bacon at work with breakfast. Usually it is Shudder hash
Slow cooked to perfection, bacon is candy.
one of the food network shows had Chinese bacon as an ingredient. Now I'm curious.
My son's nick name is Bacon. I got a dash mat for the Celica (which he has decided will be known as "Tom Celica") and had Bacon embroidered on it. It is to laugh.
let's see, there's grilled bacon, poached bacon, candied bacon, fried bacon, baked bacon, bacon salad.......

I have had chinese jerky... as long as you do not want to know about the ingrediants.. it's quite good
If you can find it, try some smoked pork jowl. If not for the convenience of being pre-sliced, it's possible I wouldn't go back to bacon.
I prefer country ham for breakfast over bacon.

I had some bacon for lunch today.
One word: Bentons. It is made here locally.
So, who here's making their own bacon? Not that difficult, you know. If you have a beer fridge in your garage (and you DO have a beer fridge in your garage, right?) and a basic smoker setup, it's quite straightforward.
