Watching qualifying on ESPN3 right now. Carnage. Made my first trip to Baltimore last October, I think I drove about half the track getting to the aquarium. I plan to be watching this tomorrow.

What a great race that was! I loved the GT battle, and there was quite a bit of carnage thanks to the Corvette twins...
When is Seth Neiman going to realize that he should step down. He got freight trained by a pair of GTC cars...WHAT!

The racing today in the ALMS was absolutely phenomenal. Saw so many great passes and the #4 Vette was a blast to watch as he picked his way back from that spin.
How ever sun burnt head and blistery feet suck. 1 more day left!

Today's race was really good. A nice one-two for the winning team and it was great to see a PC car on the podium. The GT race was another intensity-fest; those guys never disappoint.
I had doubts about the course, but it is very nicely done with an unusually wide racing surface for a street course. And the overhead shots of the course (next to the harbor and the ball park) make for a really impressive venue.
I think I'll end-up switching channels to watch the Indy cars live and the replay of the ALMS race.

The ALMS race was great and GRM was on local TV tonight, about 1:30 in to the broadcast (and yes I am the troll wearing the shirt $2002 still)

Here's a little more detailed video with a different angle and slow motion as well.

They want an arm and a leg to rent the lots. Our local auto-x club has inquired about it before. The only thing vehicular realted is police motrcycle and segway training. I drive by it every day.

Every time I ride the metro past RFK, and look at that unused track going to hell, I get really pi$$ed.
I have tickets for BGP through the PCA. Not cheap but parking in the corral and what sounds like a nice hospitality area. I hope this race works out for the promoter and the city at large.
You'd think they would run some kind of weekend warrior track day. Its easy revenue.
