I wasn't really impressed by that Ommegang chocolate stuff. Maybe the ice cream would improve it

Now, don't get me wrong. I like ice cream and I LOVE beer, but this is the only kind of beer float I'm interested in trying out:

The only thing this reminds me of is a "Cement Mixer" shot. Bad memory with that shot = 21st b-day. I did two Irish Car Bomb's and then slammed a cement mixer right after. My girlfriends white Aveo was two-tone on one side that night. White in front, brown+chunks in the back
No go on this recipe, thanks though.
Action sequence: (i've long since ditched the shag for a mohawk and now just shaved)

Ommegang makes awesome beers, just not that one. I love Hennepin and Three Philosophers. Rare Vos is pretty good too. But the Chocolate Indulgence tasted like a decent stout with several scoops of Swiss Miss in it. No thanks.

I'm having a Three Philosophers right now! While reading Plato's Gorgias. And I'm typing this on my new netbook.
Oh berkeley, I'm a hipster.

Hey, that place is within pissing distance of my hometown! Thanks for the tip, I'll definetly check it out.
Now I'm wanting to make my own beer float. Never had one; just root beer floats. I'm such a kid...

I had Guinness ice cream at Ocean Boulevard in Kitty Hawk, NC a few years ago. I still have dreams about how good that ice cream was. Best restaurant on the Outer Banks by the way. http://ocean-boulevard.com/

Saute' onions and put them over a nice steak. Put said steak in a shallow pan filled with Guiness. Cover this with a layer of mashed potatoes, bake.
Have the ice cream for dessert. Everything else is just wrong.
