This may be a long shot, but does anyone here use a Thule Sidearm bike rack with a Cannondale Lefty?

I'd like to know if it works best with the rack set up for the driver's side or the passenger's. It looks like it takes a little bit of work to convert the rack from one side to the other and I'd prefer not to do it twice. There must be one way that works best with the Lefty.

    Mojo?

    Anybody?

Yep. A friend of mine uses a side-arm with her Lefty equiped bikes.

I just bought a side-arm, but don't have a Lefty. I do have a bike with a Boxxer, which is just as bulky.

I don't think it really matters which side as far as the fork is concerned, but if in doubt, set it up on the floor and try it out.

I would carry a Glock. It is ambidextrous and very durable. You were talking about that kind of sidearm weren't you? If it is about pedal bikes I can't help you.

Who ever said that I don't carry a Glock when I'm on my mountain bike?

I keep my glock in my bottle cage. That way I can reach it with either hand.

Hehe, I actually had a Prophet and a Sidearm a few years back. I installed the Sidearm on the passenger side of the car. That was mostly because I already had a fork mount carrier for my road bike installed on the driver's side, and didn't feel like switching that over.

I never had any issues, and that included a couple of 100+ mile trips. Though if you haven't bought already, I prefer the design of the Yakima High Roller a little more (that's what I'm using now) and it will work with Thule 400XT bars.
