So, after some youtubing, I've come to a conclusion. BTCC drivers have way more enthusiasm and bravery than skill. The racing is great, and really fun to watch. But the wrecks! Just about every wreck was a full throttle "Whoooops can't take that turn at 120mph" wreck. Or "How dare that motherberkeleyer try to pass me! Into the tire wall we go!". Still, I'm jealous of the huge fields.

Top Gear had an episode where they celebrated the anniversary of the BTCC. They showed clips from back in the days and the wrecks... oh my. I used to have vhs tapes of BTCC, JTCC, DTM, Aussie V8, and even the short lived NATCC with the dodge stratus.
