Boy, that's some weight behind that axle...

My first thought was, "a lot of rearward weight" then I realized that a Midget likely weighs less than a Detroit Diesel.
Creative making the whole bus just a trailer and hooking up a fresh tractor/cab.

I wonder if he has it wired so that the tail lights of the MG come on to compensate for the long overhang. He does have reflective tape on the MG bumper.

Wally never told us that busses defecate in the form of MGs.

I'm more intrigued by the prospect of turning a non-running bus into a trailer than I am in it giving birth to a Midget. Anyone know the technical details of that?

This isn't helping. I've been seeing sub 5k school buses on Craigslist lately and imagining them as a car hauler.

I've thought about doing similar with an old school bus, taking the front end, engine, and front axle off and turning it into a gooseneck enclosed trailer.

Around here, nobody bothers to make them into trailers, they just cut the back half off of a schoolbus and turn it into a camper/ramptruck hybrid.

Bonus points for leaving most of the roof intact to allow covered transport

Think I just need a welder.

Although I searching for that picture, I saw some "mud buses"... They hit a few to many buttons for me.

I've seen a lot of E36 M3 in and around buses but that's a first. This was the first thing that came to mind when I saw that.

If I had to guess from what the underside of ours look like you'd peel the skin off the front, cut the front suspension off, probably have to raise the front of the frame to fifth wheel height and add a pin. Ours are even plumbed for outside air to tow them. After doing all that it seems like a waste to cut up an Eagle like that and to half ass it with the car hanging out. It's too bad because they start out as such good looking coaches. When I was a kid there was a Trailways yard full of them by me and I always thought trey looked much better than the MCIs Greyhound had.

Such a long trailer, very small door out back and they can't get the Midget all the way in; I wonder what's hiding in the first 40 feet of trailer.

Seriously, I'm guessing they went with as little metal work as possible. The original engine compartment front wall is still in place, so they couldn't pull any further in, and they probably just redid the interior into a camper.

That makes sense Travellering. Saw a story on an RV site where a guy chopped the top off a Fiat 600 and put it crosswise into the RV.

TIL that giant buses have better brakes than MG Midgets.
