Buying Craigslist wheels

I have been watching fb and Craigslist for wheels for my SC400. Just looking for cheap ones. 

I know I need to watch out for the offset and overall size. But do I need to check for anything else? Like center bore size etc?

do want to buy some and the. Not have them fit. 

You should know the center bore of the stock rim. Too small will definitely jack you up.

My personal concern is if the wheels are round and not cracked, etc... That fear has made me pass on a few CL deals because I don't know enough to be able to spot issues.

I buy CG wheels regularly, and they get used. Every vehicle has a second set for mounting snow tires, and there are still 4 or 5 unused sets in the garage. I never pay more than $150/set either.
