I did. Buy one of these:

And a spare hand crank. Cut off hand crank and chuck in drill. Slow down drill so you don't rip the pully system out when it tops out.

Nope. It's a high torque HD drill. Gear reduction is built in. I carried that and a drop cord in a box on the front of my camper. Worked great on a 14' Coleman Seapine with the AC on the roof Like this:
